ABOUT PI
Dr. Biao Zhang received his Ph.D. from HKUST. He was a postdoc fellow at College de France before joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017. He is now an associate professor in the Department of Applied Physics.
His group is dedicated to exploring novel materials and new electrochemistry for next-generation energy storage systems. Recent work is centered on building and probing robust electrode/electrolyte interfaces for rechargeable metal (Na, K, Zn, and Ca) ion batteries.
